Experience the great outdoors through artistic woodblock prints and stories of naturally-felled trees. From artist Erik Linton, comes three large Tree Trunk soft-covered journals filled with images of his popular tree-inspired art. Influenced by the parks, reservations, and landscapes, Erik Linton creates art that is evocative of nature. It is simple and mesmerizing, and also stunningly beautiful. Each image is accompanied by a story about how the artist found the tree, what type of tree it is, and information about the rings. Alongside these images are pages of blank space for you to fill with your own exceptional artwork, writings, and other imaginings. Whether you are an aspiring artist or a doodler, a journalist or an admirer of art, these journals will bring you to new levels of expression. So, get into the woods and get creative!
Erik Linton artwork is largely influenced by the mountains near his home where he would spend much of his leisure time. In the foothills near his home, remnants of the Indian civilizations that existed there as little as a century ago are marked on the jagged cliffs of the canyons and buried in the soil of the valley.
