The author

Allison Cole is an illustrator and artist who never stops creating characters, scenes, and typography that reflect a playful spirit and bright colors. Since 2004, Allison has worked with a wide variety of clients that span many different industries, including advertising, editorial, stationery, wall art, giftware, home furnishings, apparel, bolt fabric, and book covers. Allison launched her own boutique stationery line in 2014, Handmade by Allison Cole, that specializes in eco-friendly printed cards featuring her whimsical illustrations. Allison graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and currently lives in Providence with her husband, son, and two cats.
